Instead we manage most of our apartments ourselves. As a matter of fact, we even manage most of them exclusively. This means that throughout your holiday you have a straight and direct contact for all your wishes and complaints. In this way we personally ensure the very high quality of our holiday flats and can guarantee an exceptional service to all our customers. If anything, for whatever reason, should fail to meet the previously agreed on terms, Agencia Heidelberg takes full responsibility and will provide satisfactory compensation.


When renting an apartment, it is usually necessary to pay a reservation deposit to a foreign person in a foreign country. The process to rent an apartment is thus always associated with certain risks and therefore a matter and question of trust. However, especially in Brazil many landlords have no broker license and hence are not legally vulnerable. In comparison we, Agencia Heidelberg, have been on the market since 2004 and have ever since been a licensed real estate broker as well as an official member of the Regional Association of Realtors, the Conselho Regional dos Corretores de Imóveis CRECI-RJ.


An important part of our company philosophy is the desire to make our business to our clients as transparent as possible. This starts with laying down our terms and conditions as well as pointing out all applicable costs right away. It ends with us providing a detailed and comprehensible invoice, where every charged amount is listed singularly and can therefore be followed through step by step. The detailed inventory summary, which is available and used for each apartment, leaves no room for finger-pointing. All the pictures on our website have been taken by ourselves, we never rely on third-party images.

Quality Control

Under no circumstances whatsoever do we work with real estate, which is not positively suitable for temporary rental. Before we offer our customers an apartment, each one of them has to pass a strict and distinct quality control. This means that even if an apartment is kept cheap and basic, it must nevertheless be fully functional and able to satisfy the needs of our tenants.


In addition to the rent and the security deposit, which will be refunded completely once you have checked out, there are no further or hidden costs. We charge no administrative or cleaning fees. Additional guests (within the maximum capacity) will not be put on your bill. As long as reservations are not based on a monthly price, the consumption of electricity and gas is included.

Craftsmen and cleaning staff

Although we do our best, sadly not every problem we encounter now and then can be resolved by waving a magic wand or could even have been prevented altogether. However, how quickly we cope with a de facto problem is a matter of professionalism. For exactly this reason we have a tight and well functioning network of craftsmen and cleaning staff. This allows us to react immediately and fix any incurred damage without a single second wasted.
